In the Islamic Shari'a, we already know that veiling or wearing clothes that cover the aurat is an obligation that cannot be negotiated. Why? Because the command to wear the Hijab or Hijab is a direct order from Allah. And those who violate and oppose His commands, they will be included in the group of those who disobey, reject the verses of Allah and also violate the boundaries of His law. And because of that God threatens them with hellish hell. Allah said, "And whosoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and violates the boundaries of His law, God will undoubtedly put it into the fire of hell, he will abide therein and he will get a humiliating punishment." (QS. An Nisa: 14 )

5 groups of people who are not required to wear headscarves.

The Veiling Order is God's command to Muslim women. Veiling is not a product of Arab culture as many people say. Veiling is a revelation of Allah revealed to the Prophet Muhammad to be conveyed to his people, namely those who have pronounced two sentences of creed.

The following are Allah's orders to Muslim women in the use of headscarves / Hijab contained in the Qur'an, "Say to women who believe, let them hold their eyes, and keep their genitals, and let them not show their jewels, except those ( ordinary) looks from him. And they should cover the veil to the limit of his chest ... "(QS. An Nur: 31)

In His other words it is stated, "O Prophet, say to your wives, your daughters and the wives of believers, Let them cover their headscarves throughout their bodies. That is so that they are easier to recognize, so that they do not disturbed, and Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful "(Surat al-Ahzab: 59)
From the two words of God above, it is very clear and explicit that Muslim women are obliged to veil. And the order is universal, which applies to all Muslim women regardless of their economic, social, cultural, racial or position status. All Muslim women in all countries are obliged to wear headscarves or hijab.

However, do you know that there are 5 (five) groups of people who are not obliged to wear a Hijab / Hijab? This means that veiling is not mandatory for these five people. Who are they ? Why are they not obliged to veil ??

1. Muslim daughters who have not been Baligh.

The Law and Shari'ah of Islam began to apply fully to those who have been Mukallaf, namely those who have been exposed to the obligation to carry out the commands of Allah and have experienced a period of balance. While for those who have not yet been balighed, he is not yet liable to fulfill his religious obligations. Likewise in the case of the wearing of headscarves / hijab, girls who have not been baligh are not obliged to wear the hijab, as the Prophet said when they said to Asma, "O Asthma, indeed women when they are bald, should not be seen except this and this "He Saw pointed his face and palm. (Narrated by Abu Dawud).
So based on the hadith above, if you still feel as a child who has not been able to get high and not have menstruation, then there is no obligation for you to veil.

2. Crazy people

The second group that is not obliged to wear the Hijab / Hijab is a woman who is lost in mind (crazy). In Shari'ah and Islamic law, people who lose their minds (crazy), then he is free from any obligation. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) has guaranteed that the Crazy People will be free from the laws that Allah establishes. The Messenger of Allah said, "The pen was lifted from three people: the person who slept until he woke up, the madman until he realized, the children were up to him." (Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, An Nasa'i and Ibn Majah)
Please value yourself, are you in the Crazy category ???

3. Non Muslim women.

It is very clear to us that Islamic law and shari'ah only applies to those who are Muslim, while for those who are not Muslim (Non-Muslim), they are not subject to any obligations under Shari'ah. So in the Qur'an the commandment of veiling is only for those who believe, those who do not believe are not obliged to veil. Allah said, "Say to the women who believe, let them hold their eyes, and keep their genitals, and let them not show their jewels (their genitals), except those (ordinary) appearing from them. And let them cover the veil to the limit of their breasts." An Nur: 31)

4. Grandma

Allah does not require orders to wear headscarves / hijab to the grandmothers who have used menapause, namely those who have lost their lust, have stopped menstruating, and do not expect any more sexual relations. In His words, "And the old women who have stopped (from menstruation and contain) who do not want to get married (again), then there is no sin to take off their (outer) clothes with no (intention) to reveal jewelry; better for them ... "(QS. An Nur: 60)

5. Men

Men are not obliged to wear headscarves / hijab, because the command for headscarves / hijab is only for women of faith. If there is a man who dares to wear the Hijab / Hijab, then remember the Prophet will curse him. In a hadith mentioned, "the Prophet cursed men who resembled women and women who resembled men ..." (Narrated by Bukhari)
